The wonderful Ksenia has challenged me to post black & white photos for the up-coming five days. It took me a few weeks to notice that I’d been challenged, but better late than never!
In return I nominate Robyn @ robynsfineart.wordpress.com/
In order to take this challenge, you must post B&W photography for the next five days, and each day nominate another photographer to enter the challenge. Good luck!
(Needless to say, but of course you can also choose to not participate or to do it later if it doesn’t fit your current schedule).
Also check out Photo101 rehab: http://luciledegodoy.com/2014/12/04/photo101-rehab/ or some more sunny shots in Paula’s Thursday post: http://bopaula.wordpress.com/2014/12/18/thursdays-special-sunset/
Edit: Robyn has accepted the challenge. http://robynsfineart.wordpress.com/2015/01/27/bw-challenge-day-1-of-5/

Its a pleasure – finally made it 😄
This is lovely those mornings Rays are so magical and the lengths of wood that have fallen down add that something extra to it all x
Thanks a lot Justine! There’s nothing quite like the winter morning light.
Very true and Cardinal i was wondering if you might join my Eclectic Decadent Event as i sense after seeing certain of your select photos that you could bring something really quite interesting to the table 🙂 i would be humbled if you did so x
Sure, I have a photo that’s suitable!
Yay fab i had an incling you might!! 🙂
And SO eagerly anticipated after grey days such as we are experiencing here now ! Lovely .
We’ve had plenty of grey days here too lately. Last night it was snowing, so now it’s whiter and brighter outside.
This is a magical shot. It makes me want to go out there for a long walk. Have a nice weekend.
PS. wow.. and the sun with the start effect. 😉
It was shot at the Folk Museum (Folkemuseet) in Oslo. It’s an outdoor museum and definitely a perfect place for a walk.
The sunburst, the shadows, the light through the trees – just lovely. So warming.
Thanks Desley. You’ve been posting some fantastic portraits in your B&W posts!
Aw thank you!
I like the moodiness in this one.
Thank you Paula and I loved the colours in yours.

I’m fascinated by the atmosphere , the light and the shadows on the grass…
It was a beautiful light that morning. Thank you!

Dhanyavad behen. Norway is (almost) always chilly.
shadows and silhouettes. Love it!
Long morning shadows are great.
That’s fantastic! Beautifully atmospheric and that lens flare lends it the glamour of cinema.
“the glamour of cinema”, thank you very much Richard!
I really like the rays of light here. The black and white treatment is so atmospheric
Thank you for stopping by Suzanne. It’s a nice color photo too, but it’s better in B&W!
Is that frost on the grass?
Yes, it was a winter morning. Two weeks ago.
Invigorating and uplifting. I can almost smell the freshness of the day.
magic light…
That’s what I love about winter.
