  4. I like the lights and reflections. Were you actually trying to be a shadow in there or was it an accident?

  8. It took me a while to understand the self-portrait bit. But when I realized it, I thought it was an even greater picture. Wonderfully seen and captured,

    • Thank you Otto. I guess one could say that It’s a dimmed self-portrait. I’m glad you like it.

  18. Oh Cardinal this is beautiful. Your reflection on the boat almost looks like it’s meant to be there – as if you were painted on! And the sparkling lights reflected on the water.. so pretty.

    • Thanks Hamster! It’s a nice place for photographing and I’ll return there to shoot some winter shots during the next months :)

  19. Oh WOW… I don’t know who the creep that rated this as “decent enough” was, but he/she should be ashamed … this is so perfect, you actually caught your reflection on the boat and in the water; the water and sky are both velvety … a beautiful, genius shot!!!!!

    • Thank you very much my friend! Without the shadow the photo wouldn’t have been the same at all.

And yes: he/she should be ashamed!

  20. Subtly done. The shot’s got a really interesting visual tension to it – something to do with scale? Anyway, great shot.
