Thanks Miles. The link in your name leads to a protected blog, perhaps you should change the link to mdcphotographs.wordpress.com ?
March 23, 2012 at 19:48
Really? It’s supposed to be open. Thanks for the heads up!
March 23, 2012 at 20:03
No problem, I’m glad to help.
March 23, 2012 at 20:33
Hmmm, ok, I’m going to have to ask… how exactly can I do that? Trying to adjust my settings but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right. Any tip would be much appreciated!
March 23, 2012 at 20:15
Go to the “dashboard” of your blog (the one that’s private) – in the meny you click on ‘settings’ – ‘privacy’ and then you choose one of the following options:
- Allow search engines to index this site.
- Ask search engines not to index this site.
Choose the one you like and click ‘save settings’
March 23, 2012 at 20:32
Yep! did that. Hope that did it! Thanks
March 23, 2012 at 20:48
Now your name leads to joybound.wordpress.com, but the mdcconsultancy one is still marked private.

Tusen takk Rebekka. Håper livet er fint i Canada, det må ha vært spennende å flytte dit fra Sverige!
March 23, 2012 at 19:51
Livet är bra här, men ibland längtar man hem förstås. Det har blivit åtta år nu.
March 23, 2012 at 20:50
Nice… Always like a good mirror shot – especially if you need to take it while driving the car
March 23, 2012 at 18:42
Just for safety I stopped the car while taking the photo (I know: I am so boring)
March 23, 2012 at 19:53
That’s a nice one.

March 23, 2012 at 19:57
and behind the mirror? apes and little children are searching confused behind mirrors
March 23, 2012 at 19:15
Maybe that’s the real reason why Jimi Hendrix took his spirit and smashed his mirrors…?

Beautiful! I have several rear view mirror shots like these, taken at speeds not meant for photographers!
March 23, 2012 at 20:06
As long as you’re not driving while taking the photos I guess it’s ok, but I must admit that I’ve snapped a few shots myself while driving a motorcycle…
March 23, 2012 at 20:18
What a perfect shot. Love the road behind you, and the scenery is great. Love the cloud cover too. Great light for shots like this. Thanks for that link in the earlier comment — off to go look!

Wonderful through view, love the arch frame!
March 24, 2012 at 14:11
Thanks Patti. I also like the natural framing of this photo.
If I removed the framing/the plastic parts from the mirror on this photo, the whole photo would have lost it’s value.
It’s true what WordPress writes:
“Often framing your photo’s composition through something else is the best thing you could do to it. It gives the viewer even more context into what your eye saw in that moment in time. Sometimes it modifies the entire tone or meaning of the photo.”

Word Press “Versatile Blogger” Award Nomination
This is an official announcement that I’ve nominating you for the “Versatile Blogger” award.
As a recent recipient of the award, one of the three award rules I must comply with is to: “Nominate 15 bloggers I read, enjoy, inspired by, and making sure you notify them of their place on this list.”
What is this Word Press award? I had to do a little digging since this was all new to me and I only started my first ever blog in January 2012. “It is a way to introduce bloggers to each other and to promote quality blogs that the awardees and their readers might not be discovered otherwise.”
You can read more about the award and my responses to the three required rules at my website: http://rickdiffleyphotography.com
Thank you for your blog and inspiration!!
