Reblogged this on Oyia Brown.
Thanks for the reblog.
Very well captured atmosphere… 🙂
Thanks Drake
What a great street gallery. I especially love pictures 51, 54, and 55. Oh, and 44 and 45, in both color and black and white! 🙂
Thanks. I like them too.
Great photos. The Rabbi looks like his hat is too small for him though
Thank you Alastair. He’ll never win the biggest hat competition with that hat.
Haha So true 😀
Were you there on holiday? Liking the bread…
The bread looks tasty and it smelled great too!
Fabulous shots, Cardinal! You’ve captured the life of the street and its narratives beautifully.
Thanks Mr. Guest. I love the hustle and bustle of the big cities.
I absolutely love #38, but wonder what is that guy is doing in #35?
38 is one of my favorites. #35 is a graffiti in Tel Aviv.
lovely series!
Dhanyavad Know-All.
Wow to # 55. There are some real gems in this gallery… and you got some posers too 😀
Thanks Paula. I shot some similar photos (like #55) when I lived there a couple of years ago, but I didn’t really know how to produce the results that I wanted from my camera at that time. That’s why I decided to re-shoot the photos: I went to Jerusalem to visit a friend, and got up in the middle of night to capture the city before and during sunrise.
In my opinion Jerusalem is best in the morning.
you caught a really great slice of this part of the world
Thanks. I was having a “street photography month”-project, so I shot more photos than what I normally would have done.
I literally loved it — this got to be the closest to actually being there! Excellent shots! Especially the one with the woman carrying the sleeping child … what great light!
Thanks Mrs Quack. I was very happy when I captured the sleeping child because I knew the motive was timeless.
I also wanted to say that I really like your new avatar 😉
Wow, once again you got some really impressive shots!
Thanks again Miss Smc.
I envy you….this sure looks like an adventure… the photos are wonderful!
Takker så meget Miz Roket.
Just love the first shot by the bread stand. A bit raw, very real, a moment of the bread of life. How you managed to make the peach side of that old building look so lovely is beyond me.
Heartfelt thanks for the good feedback.
