Near the Wat Pho temple in Bangkok you can get some really good sticky rice. It’s a small, confined space – a tiny place where the only thing they serve is mango sticky rice.
It might look dangerous the way she’s chopping away at the mango, but the chef is in full control.

I would love to eat a bowl. Yum!
It’s so sweet and good!!

Amazing how some people manage to produce most delicious meals in a tiny space like that. We can’t find a good mango in my country. Nice portrait, Max. Was the blur added in post-processing?
Thanks Paula. The post-processing was basically just turning it into black & white. The blur in the photo is from movement and DoF.
Beautiful photograph! Yum my favorite dessert ….. delish!
My favorite too.
Yum. I love mango, but am rubbish at cutting it up. Maybe I need lessons from the chef!
Mango is the best!
yep. I actually prefer it slightly under-ripe in salads with lots of chilli and coriander.
I suspect I’d be fingerless in a very short space of time doing her job, Max 🙂
It takes precision, that’s for sure.
Stunning portrait Max!
Apologies – fat fingers. Loved the mood and simplicity of the second picture as well
Thanks for both comments! The first photo is the best in my opinion. 🙂
