Liquid ink turned into solid art – that’s an accurate description of what happened at Thailand Tattoo Expo 2018. I’ve already posted some photos in part 1. Now enjoy part 2.

Mara Eastern said in a post on my other blog that she wanted to see some nude dudes. Well, tomorrow I’m shooting a friend (he won’t be nude – sorry Mara), so today I decided to clean the camera, test the flash, charge the batteries etc, etc. The photographer’s Mise en place. Which again led to this self-portrait.
Testing different flash settings… Self-portrait. I still got stuff attached to me after a hospital visit yesterday (had to document it).
Mise en place (French pronunciation: [mi zɑ̃ ˈplas]) is a French culinary phrase which means "putting in place" or "everything in its place." It refers to the set up required before cooking, and is often used in professional kitchens to refer to organizing and arranging the ingredients (e.g., cuts of meat, relishes, sauces, par-cooked items, spices, freshly chopped vegetables, and other components) that a cook will require for the menu items that are expected to be prepared during a shift.[1] - Wikipedia
I don’t agree, but some people might use the word Transmogrify (“To change in appearance or form, especially strangely or grotesquely; transform.”) to describe tattoos. Transmogrify is the theme for WordPress’ Weekly Photo Challenge this week. You can see more entries for that challenge if you visit WordPress: https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/transmogrify/
Mark Bester from Marked for Life created this armpit tattoo at the Titanic International Tattoo Convention 2016 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Mark also made the snake on his throat, which I’ll upload photos of later. Regardless if you like the armpit pussy or not (personally I can say that it’s definitely not my kind of tattoo), Mark is very talented with the machine. During the coming weeks I’ll share plenty of photos from Titanic International Tattoo Convention 2016, so stay tuned for more!

Got some more work done by the talented Marius Meyer today.
