I’m no longer hosting this challenge that I started, Su Leslie is the host this year, so now I’m only participating.
You can buy/stream my music on Google Play, Spotify, Itunes and Amazon Music. Search for “Mads Bjørkli” or “Knuste Hjerter EP”. Will soon also be available via WiMp/Tidal, Shazam and other platforms (see image below).
Here’s a link to Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=knuste%20hjerter%20EP
You can also follow my musical adventures on these platforms:
(This is my entry for the WPC challenge this week)
I figured I’d give you a little peek on what I’ve been doing lately. For a while I’ve been working on my music: recorded a few songs, played them live here & there and uploaded them to YouTube. Today I also created a Facebook page, so feel free to follow me on either platforms: Facebook and/or YouTube (don’t be afraid to click “like” or “subscribe”). No obligations though. The Facebook page is a public site, so you don’t have to register at Facebook in order to see it. There’s not much on there yet, but hopefully I’ll have more material to share in the not too distant future.
My new material will also be available for streaming on several platforms shortly, but it’s a process that takes some time. One of the songs I’ve uploaded has English lyrics, there’s one instrumental and the rest are in Norwegian.
There’s not much more to say, so here’s a playlist with my songs & cover songs. From acoustic singer/songwriter stuff, via children’s songs to punk. Give it a listen, or at least the first clip with the new material – it’s only one minute of your life that you’ll never get back.
Since 2012 I’ve been making unofficial widgets for WordPress’ Weekly Photo Challenge. Of course I have to keep the tradition this year. As usual these are public domain, which means you can use them however you like.
I lost a tooth the day before André and I recorded this song. We probably should have recorded “All he wants for Christmas is a new front tooth” instead, but here’s Feliz Navidad to all my blog readers:
Also, my challenge called «The Changing Seasons» will continue to run in 2017 and everyone is invited to join. You can read all about the challenge in the introduction from 2016:
Technical stuff on how to add widgets to your blog: Download the image you want to use to your computer, then you upload it to your files in WordPress. (on the WordPress ‘dashboard’ menu where it says media – library). Then you add an image widget to your blog (also from the dashboard under apperance – widgets). In the widget add the URL to the photo that you’ve added to your library (my URL looks like this in the widget: https://cardinalguzman.files.wordpress.com/2016/12/wpc-2017-widget17.jpg). At the bottom of the widget settings, it say “Link URL (when the image is clicked):” There you add a link to your posts that are tagged “weekly photo challenge” or weekly photo challenge 2017″. My link looks like this: https://cardinalguzman.wordpress.com/tag/weekly-photo-challenge/ So, your link would be: http://catbirdinamerica.wordpress.com/category/photography/weekly-photo-challenge/ Hope this was helpful. Just ask if you have more questions.
