We arranged another house concert this weekend and it was amazing. Fantastic audience, good food, good music, old friends and new faces.
“Troll Mom’s Lullaby” is a Swedish children’s song, written by Margit Holmberg (1912-1989). It’s about a troll mom who sings a lullaby with the words “Oajajajaj buff” to her eleven children, as they are the most beautiful words she knows. The song was first released in 1943.
(Wikipedia)
It takes up a lot of time, but it’s also very rewarding on a personal level. Here’s a couple of photos and a YouTube clip from one of the concerts at Krakabøla Marked in Gamlebyen. I was lucky enough to get Crescendo Barnekor (kids choir) to perform for us and they did a fantastic job!
