If you take the river boat up Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, you’ll find the Reclining Buddha Temple (Wat Pho / Wat Chetuphon).

The boat stops at Wat Arun (another temple across the river, I’ll post some photos from this place later) and Wat Pho. There’s also a small river boat that crosses the river between the two temples.
When you’re heading up river towards the temples, you’ll also pass Memorial Bidge and Memorial Brideg 2. Haha.
Memorial What?!?
Bidge…
Memorial Spelling.

I’ll post more stuff from Bangkok soon-ish.

Wonderful photos. I love the first one.
The first one is particularly awesome, with the glitter reflected on the squatting deer-head-figures. Makes one proud to be a (semi)Buddhist.
Beautifully done, and you captured the historical architecture so well upclose. So serene, and hope it wasn’t too crowded when you were there. Also that shot of the van turning the corner towards the sunset was nicely timed. Spot on photography as usual on the road, C 🙂
the black and white was good!
Thailand is great. Have you been to Chiang Mai yet? It is wonderful.
No, I haven’t been there yet. Hopefully I get to go there some day.
