Since 2012 I’ve been making unofficial widgets for WordPress’ Weekly Photo Challenge. Of course I have to keep the tradition this year. As usual these are public domain, which means you can use them however you like.
I lost a tooth the day before André and I recorded this song. We probably should have recorded “All he wants for Christmas is a new front tooth” instead, but here’s Feliz Navidad to all my blog readers:
Also, my challenge called «The Changing Seasons» will continue to run in 2017 and everyone is invited to join. You can read all about the challenge in the introduction from 2016:

Technical stuff on how to add widgets to your blog: Download the image you want to use to your computer, then you upload it to your files in WordPress. (on the WordPress ‘dashboard’ menu where it says media – library). Then you add an image widget to your blog (also from the dashboard under apperance – widgets). In the widget add the URL to the photo that you’ve added to your library (my URL looks like this in the widget: https://cardinalguzman.files.wordpress.com/2016/12/wpc-2017-widget17.jpg). At the bottom of the widget settings, it say “Link URL (when the image is clicked):” There you add a link to your posts that are tagged “weekly photo challenge” or weekly photo challenge 2017″. My link looks like this: https://cardinalguzman.wordpress.com/tag/weekly-photo-challenge/ So, your link would be: http://catbirdinamerica.wordpress.com/category/photography/weekly-photo-challenge/ Hope this was helpful. Just ask if you have more questions.

Thank you again! I was hoping you’d make new widgets for this year 🙂 Hope you are feeling better. I hate going to the dentist. Not only is it uncomfortable, but then i have to pay for the experience 🙂
It’s so freaking expensive! Not good for a single dad! Feck…
Have a great Christmas, all the best for 2017….including a new tooth?
I’ll get a new tooth in the beginning of next year… I see good tattoo/travel money disappear.
Oh dear…pots of money if you have an implant
excellent!! love it!
Thanks and happy chanukka!
Thank you for sharing your music with us 🙂
I completely failed at keeping up with The Changing Seasons in 2016 (I think I did January and that’s it). The farm and my new job have left me exhausted and stretched beyond what i thought I could hold before now. Finding my footing again, I have intentions of getting back in the swing of regular blogging again in 2017 and will jump in with you here as I can! Thank you for sharing your photography and perspectives with us here in Internet Land. I appreciate your work.
Hope 2016 transitions into 2017 in a perfectly lovely way, Cardinal. Cheers!
I always enjoy sharing my music, especially when a few people also listen to it and like it. 😀
Hope you’ll get back into a blogging rhythm again. Godt nyttår Melissa!
