I’ve been on the edge several times this summer, so WordPress’ Photo Challenge this week had the perfect theme.
Here’s a small gallery from my hikes to Preikestolen, Kjeragbolten, Trolltunga and Besseggen.

Wow! Great images. I visited Preikestolen in 1992, but didn’t get so close to the edge.
We probably would have gone even closer, but the ground was wet. It was raining on and off during the hike to both Preikestolen and Kjeragbolten. Amazing places. I hope you enjoyed your visit there too.
Have a great weekend Jim.
Thanks. Norway is beautiful, my first honeymoon was to the Lofoten Islands. But we drove up from Stavanger seeing many sights along the way.
Sounds like an epic route. If I had a car, I’d do the same.
I no longer have a car.. but there are plenty of mountains here in Georgia, accessible by minibus.
You clearly have! What a view 🙂 🙂
Wow! You’re brave to be standing so close to the edge. I’m way too scared; as soon as I get close to an edge like that, I feel dizzy and start to lose my balance! Wonderful shots of a beautiful place. 🙂
Great images- you are really an edgy kind of guy- and brave! 🙂
You look very edgy too. Looks like a cool holiday!
Fantastic images. I’d love to be hiking there!
Let me know if you’ll ever come to Oslo/Norway, then we can go hiking together.
I certainly will!
Far, wide, over and under. Amazing images. Hiking is so fun, isnt’t it. Rest well, and then walk on 😀
These are amazing. Have you shed all civilisation’s posturing and entered the wild?
It’s tempting, but I’m still a city dweller.
awesome ness !
Super/extra/ultra …stunning!
Wow wow wow! That is edgy in the extreme. Gorgeous, too!
Too close to the edge for me but the views are incredible. Glad I can enjoy them.

What a height what a view ! Fantastic series
I had a perfect candidate for this challenge too, but I wasn’t online on weekend. This edgy look suits you. Love the wild nature.
Thanks Paula. I have lots of photos from these trips that I’ll share during the next weeks.
Arg, too close to the edge for me! Great photos though.
Great photos. 🙂 You conquered the world. 😉 I haven’t been hiking in ages. Ok, last time was in Oslo in April 2015. 😛 But it wasn’t so edgy.
Unfortunately there are no edgy hikes in Oslo… I hope you enjoyed my city anyway. 😀
Of course! I was there twice already and it’s not the end. If I knew Norwegian well I’d move there, it’s my second favourite town in Europe after Warsaw, of course 🙂
I’ve never been to Warsaw, but I’m going there in approximately a month!
Great to hear that. I hope you will have a great time here. 🙂
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Or use the suggestions for Warsaw from blog. 😉
I’ll check out your Warsaw posts. I’m going there for a tattoo convention, but I have some extra days where I have no program/no clue what to do.
What a stature what a view ! Awesome series…Great photos…🙂.. i adore it much obliged for share…
