What happens when a bunch of couchsurfers meet up after dinnertime? A great party and a jam session, that’s what happens.

Couchsurfers in Oslo having fun in a jam session event on 14.04.16. The participants are from Norway, India, Peru, Spain, Portugal, Ethiopia, Iceland and Indonesia. (Screenshot from You Tube)

Do you sing?
Sometimes I do, but I’m not a good singer.
You are not a bad one either. I remember your video from India. 😀
Thanks, but I’ll say that I’m a pretty bad singer. Horrible singing voice.
Friendship in action. Makes me happy to see it.
It was a great gathering. Good vibes. 😎
Awesome! BTW… I just googled “piano you blow in” to find out what the heck that instrument is. I had never seen one before. 🙂
It’s a fun instrument to play (as you can see around 4:25 in the clip) and it’s probably the easiest instrument you can play.
Love it! What a great way to spend an evening!
Yes, a great way to spend an evening.
So cool! Seems like everyone found a common ground even being from so many places. I didn’t know you were a musician!
I’m not a musician really. More like a guy that can handle some instruments. Here’s some of the music that I’ve made: https://cardinalguzman.wordpress.com/music/
That’s great! I play nothing but wish I could.
It’s not too late to learn an instrument. 🙂
I don’t seem to have inherited any natural talent, but I’ve never really tried. Maybe someday!
I like the concept of couch surfing. But not the reality. But are these folks all surfing the same couch? Or is there a house with couches all over it, or what? I think I may be too old for this stuff?
On this night a couchsurfer invited other couchsurfers for a party and jam-session in her home, so that’s what you see here and they all live in or around Oslo.
When you couchsurf, you stay at another couchsurfer’s private home.
The guest writes a request for a couch and then you can check out eachother’s profile’s and read references from previous hosts/guests. Some of the members are mostly surfing, some are mostly hosting and others do both.
this might have been cool for me, decades ago
I only host people. When I travel I prefer to stay at hotels.
Nice! Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to know people from all over the world and share cultures 🙂
Yes it is. A great way of meeting people.
