Bangkok has a great music scene. I took a look at some of what it has to offer and diversity is the keyword to describe it: Rock concerts, clubbing, street artist and an awesome, tiny blues bar – aptly called Blues Bar.
The photos in this gallery were all shot at the Blues Bar (it’s in Samsen Road, a short walking distance from the horrible tourist area Khaosan Road).
Enjoy these short clips with some of the music you can find in Bangkok:

That first clip is AWESOME! Wish you had posted the entire tune…
Yeah! The drummer was fucking amazing. The other guys were amazing too actually.
Unfortunately I was afraid of running out of memory card and batteries, so that’s why I only filmed a few short clips… That Blues Bar was a fantastic surprise. I’ll definitely go back there on my next visit to Bangkok.
You saw a part of Bangkok I did not see.
Yes, I probably did. Except for Khaosan Road, I didn’t see one of the tourist attractions while I was there. I drove by some of them though.
Looks like a cool place, and reminds me in many ways of this place in Belgrade…. http://belgradestreets.com/2013/04/22/all-that-jazz/
Great shots Andy.
Thank you Max.
A down to earth scene.
Definitely. Bangkok had a lot of charm.
