These monochrome mountains & landscapes were shot in July when I visited Sandhornøya in Gildeskål kommune, Nordland.
I shot these from a car. There’s more to come (colour photos), but for now enjoy this gallery. Click on the photo to visit my Flickr Gallery:
Edit: I updated the link to the gallery, so don’t be afraid to check it out.

Beautiful!
Thank you Rock!
stunning! I love the font you are using- what is it??
In the blog it’s fondamento and open sans. On the photos in the 9 photos gallery it’s garamond.
thank you!
wait a minute, wait a minute!!!! when you say – ‘shot from my car’ is it the same kind of shooting as the other time from the bike? driving AND shooting? (by the way I tried cycling and shooting (with a compact and without beer) and now I can admire your bike results even more – holding a big camera in a move…. uuuuu)
No, no. Someone else was driving the car. That would have been to risky, even for my standards.
fiu (=smiley wiping off her forehead). glad to hear. 😉
I don’t typically like sepia tones, but this one is truly mesmerizing… especially the sky…
Thank you very much Alexandra. There’s more in the Flickr gallery (but I like this one the best).
Really beautiful, Cardinal – love the sepia – oddly makes them look more modern.
Thanks R. Tomorrow I’m going to attend a cyanotype class/workshop. Could be fun. Expand the photographic horizon.
Blissful.
The toning works really well. Great monochrome.
Superb use of light and line. Very striking.
