This photo is a little out of focus, but it was shot outside a bar on a night out, so I’m excused. (The world isn’t perfect, so just get over it. The faster you realize that and get over it, the more time you’ll have to enjoy life with all its imperfections).

Have a great weekend!
I think the imperfections make it perfect and definitely more interesting. I can either focus on the guy’ s face or let my mind wander in the atmosphere of the background. Or both.
Thank you Ese. This is a typical example of intoxicated, late night photography!
In my vocabulary “intoxicated” is not that bad 😀
I love your vocabulary Ese! Intoxicated is the state that I’m planning to be in later tonight.
I can only wish you to have a lovely evening and…cheers, of course! 🙂
So should we look at it after a beer or two? 🙂 I like it, Cardinal.
janet
Hehe, that’s a great idea Janet! It’s Friday night now, so why not? 😀
Always enjoy seeing your take on the WPC 🙂 and great photo as usual!
Thank you Shelly, that’s nice to hear. Have a wonderful weekend.

Fantastic, Cardinal! Love the moment and gesture you’ve captured! The slight blur definitely works!
Very good! Really enjoyed your philosophical thoughts as well.
Yes, the world is perfect with all its imperfections:)
You caught a lot in that. Great shot
I like it. Did you know the subject?
I know him good know, but didn’t know him good at the time.
The slight out-of-focusness enhances the shot – slows it down somehow and gives it depth. Another great portrait.
Thanks Richard. I think you’re right: the lack of focus kind of slows down the scene. Thanks for your kind words.

I like it as it is. Screw the perfection … «there’s a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in» /Leonard Cohen
love the blur! the monotone! the shadows!

Lovely shot – slight blur probably more the result of the night out than the darkness 🙂 Love your “get over it” instruction!
Cardinal, there’s a perfect glow to this great shot!
oh, and yay to the “like” button!
Thanks Patti. I decided to add the like button temporarily as an experiment on the weekly photo challenges.
that is nice 🙂
Very nice portrait – and everything in life is not so sharp… so, this is just wonderful!
