Street Portrait 9527

After I posted the street portraits of the two police officers in Jerusalem, I’ve been thinking about sharing more of my street portraits. This one is technically not on (or even near) a street, as it was shot in the Wadi Rum desert of Jordan, but still it counts as a street portrait.

  1. I agree.. definition of street portrait should refer to all chance portraits (candid ones) of strangers captured in a candid moment. This one looks like a jolly fellow! I like it 🙂

  2. These are a look to an unknown world to me (and Petra must be an amazing place…). It would be great to see more!

  3. Being that it’s out in the desert, away from indoor or outdoor urban settings, this could be one of street photography’s cousins; rural photography. It fits.
