Barcode 0904

Barcode, Oslo, seen from Gamlebyen.

The old city vs the new. Quite a contrast.

EDIT: Upon posting I received a message that this is the 500th post in this blog. I should have planned something spectacular for post #500, but it took me by surprise. Now you’ll have to wait ’till post #1000 to hopefully see something spectacular 🙂

  1. This is an interesting photo. Don’t know what I like better: the old/new buildings, or that fluffy band of clouds overhead. Great photo for this challenge, the contrast seems so seamless. I had to take a second look at your photo. And I thought I saw the slightest hint of a rainbow to the left…

Congrats on your 500th post, Cardinal 🙂

  2. Max, this is decent enough for 500 :). I still have a long way to go. How many have you published on your “lesser” blog? 😉

  3. And just how far are we though the Greek dick of cards? Congrats, takes stamina !

  4. Thanks for all the comments.
Crazy busy days lately, so I haven’t had time to reply to comments, post new stuff and read blogs. I’ll hopefully manage a comeback sometime next week.

  5. Great image, screams contrast in many ways. I see traditional and modern, hard and soft, man-made and nature, plus a bunch of contrasting textures. I guess, not bad for your 500th posts, though I get that you want something spectacular – perhaps some kind of milestone cover or event or a look-back or top list of some sort. Well then, let the count down begin for post 1000th 🙂

    • Thanks for this nice comment Aian. A milestone event with a top list, the best photos or something similar was exactly what I was thinking about… The countdown to 1000 has begun (and hopefully I’ll remember it when the time comes).
