«Reflect: to consider where we’ve been in life, where we are now, and where we’re going. […] This week , in a post created specifically for this challenge, show us an image that says reflection. It could be a person who helps you see things clearly, a place you go to collect your thoughts, or an object that reminds you of your achievements. You could also go for something more literal, like a reflection in water. Or something that demonstrates both interpretations of the word, as I’ve done in this shot.» – Ben, WordPress’ Weekly Photo Challenge

Nice pics 🙂
Thanks Crazy Guy!
interesting series, layer upon layer
Thank you Chris, I appreciate it 🙂
My pleasure Max! I like the portrait of the older man looking into the lens. And the close to the ground of the old temple wall.
The older man is a photographer that walks around and makes money by taking people’s portraits with his old Polaroid camera. In his hand he’s holding a portrait of me, because when heard him advertise his business, I felt like I should support a fellow photographer.
I asked him if he used digital cameras too, but he claimed that his old Polaroid was much better than all that new rubbish! 😀
Great story! Great man!!
And the rest.. Of course
Lovely gallery, I enjoyed looking through it. I’ve never been to Jerusalem, although I would go if given the chance. I say that about a lot of places.
I say that about a lot of places too, but I know I’ll return to Jerusalem (already in April actually).
Inspired and inspiring 🙂 Now I will comment on my favourites under individual pics 🙂
Thank you Paula. It’s inspiring for bloggers when bloggers like yourself comment.
What an awesome reflection gallery, CG!
Thanks Amy!
Love your reflections of Jerusalem. Thanks for sharing. I have always wanted to visit this place.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
I’m pretty sure you would love it there Francine!

Thank you Sayantan!
Fascinating reflections Cardinal, you catch such a wonderful vibrancy to the city. Enjoyed reading about the photographer with the Polaroid!
He was quite a character! 🙂
I hope to go Cardinal. Beautiful gallery of reflections.
I hope you get to go Madhu!
Great series, Cardinal! Like the subtleties very much – gentle reflections in the sheen of a floor – nice interpretation.
Thanks. Sometimes a subtle reflection is more than enough.
Interesting images … like them very much. I’ve never been to Israel, but I sure hope to go at least once before this life is over.
Let me ask you; do you speak Hebrew also?
Yes. My vocabulary isn’t that good, but I can speak, read & write Hebrew.
stunning photos.
would love to visit this place.
It’s definitely a very interesting city.

Yes, it’s that introspective reflection of who we are as individuals that I’m most concerned with.
Introspective reflection can end up in very interesting results: just look at the surrealist movement!
Beautiful images, as always!
Thank you very much Connie!
An interesting series depicting the city through reflections.
