That is one superb photograph with all the reflections and an unreal statue in the middle.
Thanks Ron. At first I just shot a photo, but then I thought that this scene would work great as HDR.
I agree with Ron, there’s so much going on here and it’s all totally amazing. I love that the blues of the sky and signs, and the yellows of the scaffolding stand out from the greys in the rest of the image. It looks awesome!
Thank you very much Shane. I actually had to tone all the colours down a bit, because it was difficult to find something to focus on when there was so much going on in the image already.
Well, great job on the edit.
Wow!! What is that!!! Awesome shot!
Dhanyavad Sayantan-Ji. It’s an art installation near the new Astrup Fearnley Museum at Aker Brygge in Oslo. I believe it’s supposed to be a deer, but it might also have some moose in it – some sort of cross breed between a motorcycle, a deer and a moose.
Haha…whatever it…it is wonderful! 🙂
Great both the installation and the photography, nice HDR 😉
Dhanyavad Shabnam. Have a great weekend!
are you being aided by Google with the Hindi Cardinal 🙂
No, I travelled 9 months in India and learned some Hindi while I was there.
That’s fantastic Cardinal!
Very fascinating… 🙂
Very cool!! It could be a deer or an elk, but not a moose. The horns aren’t wide enough. 🙂
janet
That’s what I thought too: that the horn were too small, but then again the hight makes it look more like a moose.
Elk are quite tall
I guess they are. I’ve never seen one, but you’re right it can be an elk. The horns definitely doesn’t look like those of a moose. Another possibility is an oversized reindeer.
I’m pretty sure reindeer have the wider, flatter horns that are more like moose. I’ve seen elk and they are more like big deer than like moose.
Yes, it’s probably an elk. Bente has some nice reindeer photos in her blog: bentehaarstad.wordpress.com/2014/03/09/reindeer-racing/
This is an amazing photograph!
Thanks for stopping by and commenting Pamasaurus.
Great, busy, lively shot!

I have to admit HDR adds a fantasy to a real world! Works well here! I am not a HDR fan, but this one adds something to the whole subject!
Thank you Mr. Breebaart.
It’s not often that I make HDR photos. Usually I stick to traditional photography, but on a few occasions (like this one) HDR can help the photo.
I agree Mr Guzman! (my first name is Chris, what is yours?)
They call me Max 🙂
Hi Max!
I’m not too fond of HDR, but in this case it looks really great! I HAVE to get to the AF museum next time I go home. What do you think about it?
Have a great weekend!
I like the architecture of the building, but we haven’t visited the museum yet. We’ve been talking about going, but when the price is 200 NOK for the both of us (100 per person), we’d rather spend those money on diapers.
🙂 Can you please name me anything in Norway that’s not pricy? Last time visiting I took the train into Oslo, even having a coffee, everything!! feels like a rip off compared to Germany and England where I live.:-) being in beautiful Norway I have to set my priorities too, and diapers sound just fine to me. 🙂
What a catch, Max! HDR is excellent here 🙂
Thank you Paula. That’s what I thought too.
Great shot CG, and I love the processing!!!
Thanks Jeff, I’m glad to hear that you like my post-processing. (It’s always nice to get compliments from photographers that you like the work of).
That is so visually hectic! I love the extremity of it.
Visually hectic and extreme is a very good description Mr. Guest. I wish that I’d thought of it when I posted the photo.
I don’t know the technical aspect of photography….but I do know that this one is absolutely amazing 🙂
Technically speaking that’s a great compliment. Thanks Aian!
AMAZING PHOTO!
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

Now I feel as though I am very much inside this photo with no idea how to get out or what to say . . . wonderful work Cardinal!
Thanks Patti. I’m glad I was able to lure you inside 🙂
Perplexing one, CG. Nice.
Takker og bukker Rommel!
sorry for what happened in my post http://isengrapher.wordpress.com/2014/03/17/weekly-photo-challenge-inside-the-rearview-mirror but i’ve fixed it, and your link is there 😀 (thanks for notify me about what happened)
No problem Isengrapher, but if you ask me those endless lists of links is nothing but nonsense. The links are already there at the Weekly Photo Challenge page on WordPress. There’s no need for bloggers to copy and paste the links to their posts.
When I get those pingbacks I never allow them in my comment section, because then it would be all filled up with endless pingbacks instead of a debate on the photos or the post (which is what bloggers really want).
If people want to click all the links and visit all the other entries, they do it from WordPress’ site anyway.
Another superb photo by Cardinal Guzman… great work… 🙂
Thanks Bams!
This one is really amazing…
Takker og bukker min bloggvenn i Norge.
🙂
Wow! Phenomenal shot of such a great sculpture…. Phew!
Thank you very much 🙂
