Cardinal, the first image is particularly good. Great composition and the B&W conversion is well done. Also, very effective use of the road to lead the viewer’s eye into the image. Nice job.
Thank you Mr. Shimazu. I’m planning to go back there, take some night shots and hopefully capture some light trails, but it’s the wrong season now so it’ll have to wait. I love your blog!
Great, that’ll be fun!
I do have some photos from the area. Akam.no and Japan Photo arranged a photo walk there last weekend, but I haven’t posted the photos yet.
Thanks Kathryn. I went back there last night to take some late evening photos, but (luckily) it’s the wrong season for light trails and blurred out skies now: it’s just too bright outside. Summertime!
For some reason, I’ve always been more drawn to churches than the ornate temples they have here in India. And you seem to have some beautiful churches there! Oh, if only I earned enough to travel. 😦
Wonderful captured… 🙂
Thank you Monsieur Drake.

The B&W is my favourite, but the colourful one looks great too. I really look forward to a walk in Oslo in July.
Ha en god helg!
Get in touch and we can meet up for a photo walk!
Ønsker deg en god helg også.
I’ll do so! Astrup Fearnley is high on my list. Did you post anything on AF?
Great, that’ll be fun!

Thanks Paula!
The light hitting the church is great!

Great moody shots, Cardinal!
Thank you Richard.
Love how the sky looks in both photos.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks. It adds some drama to the photo.
To flotte byscener.
Wow, it’s just as dramatic in b&w as it is in colour, amazing!
you are always more good!
