Here’s more from my «Mannequin & Music» project.
This mannequin is an old, viking warrior, so I thought it’s suitable to pair him with some Norwegian Black Metal music. Black metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music and Norway’s largest ‘cultural export’.
This band is called Taake (fog/mist) and the song is called Orkan (hurricane)
If you want to experience Taake live, they’ll be playing at the Black Music festival in Oslo in March. For more info, check out www.infernofestival.net

That is amazing? Is he made of wax?
Yes, I believe he is.
Are they really as angry as they sound? Can’t say I listen to alot of metal (any sub-genre) though I did get a kick out of Gwar…
I don’t listen to metal either, but I felt that it was suitable with this photo.
Oh yes, I can see that – what was it the English used to say about Norsemen striking fear into their hearts?
I don’t know what they used to say, but a whole bunch of English words comes from old Norse. For example the word law.
…and egg…
He looks pretty life-like…scary!
I’m skipping the music this time, but the shot’s great.
Feel free to skip, black metal is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. 🙂
I find this photo a bit disconcerting, so nice job.
