City night light can be amazing (I love to take a walk watching it) – very well captured – the green light at the right works very well – fortunately there is no red light on the left side… 🙂 😉
Yes, there should have been some things happening on the left side. The way it is now the photo is leaning heavily towards the right side.
Even if I straighten up the photo it’ll still be leaning, so a red light on the left side would have been perfect!
Esker Ilargia. You’re right, the moon gives it a little bit more weight on the left side, but still I wish I had tilted the camera a bit when I shot the photo.
You know this is good, don’t you? Did you get that feeling of danger when you posted it? Apart from anything else, the composition is so complex and satisfying.
Thanks Richard. I’m glad you like the photo and the composition. Like I mentioned in the reply to our Danish friend LeDrake: I should have tilted the camera a bit to the left to straighten it up, because if I straighten the photo now and crop it, I’m afraid it’ll be too tight and not enough ‘air’ on the sides.
Brava Cardinal G – that’s fabulous. How long did you expose it for?
Thanks Wander 🙂 I used a 13 seconds exposure at f/9 and ISO-100.
I’ll try to remember that!

Even on that way to me is working perfectly…The moon works like another light up on the left…
Wonderful pic Cardinal!

Ez errez!! 🙂
Yep…some of us take picture…you, on the other hand, make art.
This is absolutely spectacular!
Thank you very much for these uplifting words 😀

Thanks Adinparadise!
Fantastic! It is perfect the way it is.
Perfect with it’s imperfections 🙂
What a fabulous picture- I want to sit on the edge?
It’s possible!
Great night photo, perfect lighting and nice silhouette.
Thank you Pusher!
I love the yellows, it gives it a nice antique feel but is still sharp and vivid.
Actually the whole city (or should I rather say ‘all the islands’?) has an antique feel.
