I’ve already posted this on Google+ and now it’s time to share it in the blog.
This is my second entry for the Near & Far weekly photo challenge at WordPress. The photo was shot at Hotel Do Caracol in Terceira, Açores, Portugal. In the background you can see Monte Brasil, a peninsula located on the south coast of Terceira Island in the central Azores Islands, near the city of Angra do Heroísmo.

Your shot make me think of the danish word “hygge” – it isn’t easy to translate that word, but it means relaxed, happy, satisfy, plesant and a lot more… 😉
We have the same word in Norwegian. I guess you can say that it’s a kind of a mix between pleasure and cosiness.
…and yum.
We brought some very nice port wine home. Portugal is just an excellent country.
Looks very indulgent!
Indeed.
Wow! Nice take! And thanks for the ping back.
No problem, thanks for stopping by
I’m looking at the world through your blog 🙂
Hello Cardinal ♠
vento
.D
Just the way to end a sunny day! Thanks for the pingback.
A glass of port or a glass of wine is always good.
Ah! Nothing like the perspective through a glass of wine!
I also enjoy the perspective I get after a glass of wine!
Beautiful!
Thank you Myth
Yum! Nice shot!
and nice drink
Makes me wish it was that time of the day here. Nice
Last weekend I shared a glass with a friend after breakfast 😀
Such a simple and elegant photograph. So fitting for this week! Thanks for the ping back!
Thanks for the compliment
Anytime 🙂
I love the P.O.V. in the light in the hallway photo in your previous post, and this one is a great “travel” photo. Makes me wish I was sitting right there enjoying the view, and a nice beverage 🙂
Thanks Jeff! I’m glad you like my photos. I would definitely have invited you for a glass if you were nearby.
Well shot. Portugal, been there, but many years ago.
Great people & place. Everyone we met were really friendly .
I hope it tastes as delicious as it looks 🙂
It was tasty. We should share a glass some day.
That would be lovely… I only have my merlot now ….
Beautiful! Just want to grab that wine glass and take a sip!
I would have invited you for a glass 🙂
Think i met you first over a wine glass in an airport lounge for the indulge challenge 🙂 This one is equally good!
What a great way to meet! Awesome!
Didn’t I stop by for this shot…? Another long week whizzing by. 😉
