Oslo Fagottkor

Here’s more photos from the Oslo Gay Parade 2012. I knew the route of the Gay parade, so after I had shot some photos as the paraders were getting ready, assembling their troops, I went ahead of the parade to an elevated spot so that I could get some photos from above.

From my vantage point I witnessed the difficulties that arose when a group of non-straight men tried to organize themselves in straight lines :)

  1. I really like your first shot, well done… 😉

Amused me a little over the next 2 shots – 2 colors I never would choose myself – light blue and light pink … ‘hahaha’

    • The people wearing light blue are police officers that joined the parade. The choir dressed in pink was a happy bunch of guys and they really spread joy that day. One day I’ll go to see one of their shows and then I’ll write a post about it to keep you all updated 🙂

      • Yes I know the “police dress code” and “gay dress code” – I have friends among both groups – and loves to tease them that I can’t be gay or police because I wouldn’t dress me in these 2 colors – and they know both, that it’s just fun… 😉

Looking forward to seeing the photos, when you got some shots from one of these shows, you are mentioning… 😉

    • I don’t speak French, but Google Translate does:
“of fancy colors that exudes the joy of living”

This was definitely both fancy colors and a joyful parade. The perfect photo opportunity!
