David Bowie week continues. “Sound and Vision” is a song and single by David Bowie which appeared on the album Low in 1977. According to Wikipedia
“The song is notable for juxtaposing an uplifting guitar and synthesizer-led instrumental track with Bowie’s withdrawn lyrics. These were drawn from the cocaine-fueled paranoia the singer had lived in while residing in Los Angeles [citation needed].”
Don’t you wonder sometimes
‘Bout sound and visionBlue, blue, electric blue
That’s the colour of my room
Where I will live
Blue, bluePale blinds drawn all day
Nothing to do, nothing to say
Blue, blueI will sit right down, waiting for the gift of sound and vision
And I will sing, waiting for the gift of sound and vision
Drifting into my solitude, over my headDon’t you wonder sometimes
‘Bout sound and vision

You too Richard! David Bowie week is neat.
Off to plug in my iPod!
Sound & vision is a really catchy tune. I’ve played a lot of David Bowie songs at home this week: more than usual.
