Not only riding a bicycle in the rain, but riding a bicycle in the rain while photographing…

Surreal. But be careful! I still haven’t gathered the courage to take my camera out of the house on a rainy day.

No problem: I use my point & click camera, a Canon Ixus. It’s not waterproof, but it can handle some rain.

It’s a great image, Cardinal. Hope no injuries were incurred as a result.

Luckily my photographing is mostly injury-free

Careful … I think you’re approaching a waterfall.
Clever shot. My smile fix for the night.

You need a third hand…
January 8, 2013 at 15:15
That would have come in handy…
January 8, 2013 at 21:56
It’s a marvellous picture … just wondering how you did it?!
January 8, 2013 at 15:34
Steering with one hand, photographing with the other. Had to shoot a couple of times to get the focus correct.

What a brave soul.
January 8, 2013 at 17:19
Not brave like the war photographers, but perhaps more a kind of «office-job brave»

Great shot! I love it.
There was a time when my husband and I were cycle-touring the South Island of New Zealand and it just started to rain *sheets* of water. I wish I could have taken a picture of it.

Sounds great to cycle the South Island of New Zealand. Always wanted to go there, but it’s far away and a costly journey…
January 8, 2013 at 22:03
I don’t travel much, but my hubby is from NZed, so, we go. I’ve been to very few places in my own country, but I can say I’ve been half-way across the world!
