What matters most is how well you walk through the fire

Dramatic fire at Tøyen in Oslo
I didn’t know what to name this post, but I ended up with a Charles Bukowski quote. Anyway, yesterday there was a dramatic fire in Oslo, so I went to shoot some photos. There are a total of 92 people registered at the address and the police said a total of 38 people were evacuated. Most of the people are elderly and many had to be carried or wheeled out of there. There were no casualties and the fire department quickly extinguished the fire.

A modern day superhero on his way to save the day.

Dramatic fire at Tøyen in Oslo

The fire started in one of the apartments and spread to the roof via the scaffolding.

The ladders that the fire fighters use in Oslo is not tall enough for the tallest buildings, but it was sufficient for this fire.

The police don’t know what started the fire

Curious bystanders are getting their dose of drama for the day.

I’m glad to hear their were no casualties and I hope the people affected find other good places to live if they cannot return to this place. Praying for all affected.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

The city will find new accomodation for them. I don’t think they’ll be able to return to this building for a long time.

I hate the way way fire moves so quickly in these situations and I hope the fortunate residents are being accommodated comfortably elsewhere. Great shots!

Yes it’s scary how quickly the destructive forces of the flames devours everything in its way.
